DISCOVERING MANCHESTER
I have always wondered if there what else Manchester has to offer other than football and music. So this summer I decided to take a trip to the city to find out what I could discover!
I ventured into the city centre as soon as I arrived and straight away noticed the architecture. The buildings speak volumes of the city's grandiose past. The Manchester Art Gallery on Mosley Street is something that you cannot miss. It contains the records of all the historic and recent events that have helped shaped the city.
After that, my next stop was at Primrose Gardens. Now I was quite disappointed. It turned out that it was more of a bus stop than a garden. Moving on, I visited the Manchester Craft and Design Center on Oak Street, which is a great place to pick up exquisite jewellery, ceramics, bags, and paintings.(I picked up some ceramics for my home!)
That evening I headed out for a meal and then on to a few bars.Overall, I think Manchester is one of the finest northern cities and does have a lot more to offer than just music and football!
